About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled WordPress developer to build, maintain, and optimize our website. You’ll be responsible for creating a fast, user-friendly experience that serves our growing audience of entrepreneurs researching LLC formation.

This role combines technical development with strategic thinking about how our platform can best serve users seeking business formation guidance.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain our WordPress-based website
  • Build custom themes and plugins tailored to our content needs
  • Optimize site performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals metrics
  • Implement SEO best practices at the technical level
  • Create responsive, mobile-first designs that work seamlessly across devices
  • Integrate third-party tools and services (analytics, email marketing, CRM, etc.)
  • Manage hosting infrastructure and ensure site security and uptime
  • Collaborate with content creators to build custom layouts for complex guides and comparison tools
  • Monitor and resolve technical issues promptly
  • Stay current with WordPress updates, security patches, and industry best practices
  • Implement A/B tests and conversion optimization strategies
  • Build tools to help content creators work more efficiently (custom Gutenberg blocks, templates, etc.)

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
  • Experience building custom WordPress themes from scratch
  • Solid understanding of WordPress plugin architecture and development
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (caching, CDN, image optimization, etc.)
  • Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and technical SEO
  • Understanding of web security best practices
  • Git version control experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg blocks, etc.)
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js)
  • Experience with affiliate marketing or lead generation websites

Paralegal – Business Formation Specialist

Location: Remote (United States)
Type: Part-Time or Full-Time

About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented paralegal with business formation experience to review and enhance our LLC formation guides and content. You’ll ensure our information is accurate, current, and properly reflects state-specific requirements across all 50 states. This role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and credibility that our audience depends on.

What You’ll Do

  • Review existing LLC formation guides for legal accuracy and completeness
  • Verify state-specific requirements, fees, timelines, and procedures against official sources
  • Update content when state laws, regulations, or filing procedures change
  • Fact-check new content before publication
  • Research and document changes to business formation laws and requirements
  • Create and maintain internal reference materials for state-specific requirements
  • Review operating agreement templates and business formation documents for accuracy
  • Collaborate with content writers to ensure guides are legally sound while remaining accessible to non-lawyers
  • Monitor Secretary of State websites and regulatory agencies for updates
  • Flag content that requires legal disclaimer updates or attorney review
  • Provide expert input on complex business formation topics
  • Assist in developing new content on compliance, annual reporting, and ongoing LLC requirements

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent training
  • 2+ years of experience in corporate law, business formation, or related field
  • Solid understanding of LLC formation processes and requirements
  • Experience working with Secretary of State filings and business entity documents
  • Knowledge of operating agreements, articles of organization, and corporate governance
  • Strong research skills and ability to interpret legal statutes and regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex legal concepts into plain language
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects

Preferred:

  • Experience with multi-state business formation (familiarity with requirements across different states)

  • Knowledge of registered agent requirements and compliance obligations
  • Familiarity with trademark and business name issues
  • Understanding of tax considerations for LLCs (though not providing tax advice)

Our Hiring Process

6. Final Interview (30 minutes)
Conversation with leadership to discuss role expectations, compensation, and next steps.

7. Offer
If it’s a mutual fit, we’ll extend an offer within 3-5 business days of the final interview.
